What we’re really excited to share today are the 2025 Cruiser models that are perfect for families or anyone who wants a bunkhouse in their floorplan. We have options that offer semi-private bunks off the living area, fully private bunkhouses behind a closed door, and even secondary suites with a queen-sized bed. No two RV owners are the same, and we always want to make sure we have choices for all kinds of folks. So whether you’re traveling with young kids, in-laws, friends, or rowdy teens, read on to discover our best new family and bunkhouse RVs for 2025.
Essence
In our Essence lineup, the new 28DB fifth wheel is 32’9 ½” long, weighing 8.746 lbs. dry with a hitch weight of 1,571 lbs. That means you can tow it with most modern half-ton trucks, giving you more luxury at a lighter weight. It can sleep 5-6 people in 265 sq. ft. of interior space, including the clever new bunkhouse at the rear of the RV.
What makes it clever? The bunkhouse has a sliding door, behind which sit two double bunk beds. But instead of running north to south, the heads of the beds sit along the side wall, giving a greater sense of privacy and space. The bunkhouse includes built-in steps to reach the top bunk, which double as storage drawers, and there’s a mirrored wardrobe to hold hanging items.
Additional Interior Features
An open space combining the living area and kitchen lets you spend more quality time with your fellow travelers. The kitchen has a generous 16.2 cu. ft. 4-door fridge, an air fryer oven, and a 3-burner cooktop for cooking. A residential workstation sink features a large single basin to help you clean up fast, and solid surface countertops give you a durable meal prep space you can use for years. In the living room, a booth dinette and loveseat face the TV mounted next to the door.
For the primary bedroom, there’s a residential queen bed with a Store More bed base that gives you additional space to stash blankets and towels. Two hanging wardrobes flank the bed, and there’s another large closet with washer/dryer prep included. The bathroom has an updated shower surround with built-in shelves, and an overhead skylight provides lots of natural light.
Avenir
Moving onto our agile Avenir travel trailer models, we have three variations offering different configurations in the same footprint. The 32QB and 32BH both offer bunkhouse floorplans with slightly different layouts, and the 32DQ is a floorplan that includes two full queen bedrooms.
Avenir 32QB
In the 32QB, the rear bunkhouse holds four double bunk beds and an entertainment center. Against one wall, there’s a dinette that converts to a bed and above it, a flip-up bunk, which gives you the flexibility to use it for sleeping or hanging out as needed.
Avenir 32BH
The 32BH features the same rear bunkhouse in an L-shaped arrangement. Two double bunk beds run parallel to one wall, with a second bunk and a convertible jackknife sofa sitting perpendicular. There’s an entertainment center next to the door where you can hook up a TV, video game consoles, and more.
Avenir 32DQ
Finally, the 32DQ provides a private second bedroom with a 60 x 74” queen bed along the rear wall. There’s a wardrobe cabinet to one side and an overhead shelf where you can store bags out of the way. Windows on two out of three walls make the room feel airy and let you get a good cross-breeze going.
All three of the floorplans above are built the same across the rest of the coach. There’s a queen bedroom at the front with two wardrobes and a third closet. You’ll find the full bathroom as you move down the hall, and the on-demand water heater will let you take longer showers. As you come into the living area, you’ll see the Lux Lounge sofa, which lets you rearrange your couch and dinette cushions setup to meet any situation. There’s a booth dinette and a full residential kitchen with a 10.7 cu. ft. fridge, seamless countertops, a pull-out trash can cabinet, and maximum storage solutions.
All three models sleep at least 7-8 people in a coach that measures 36’4” long and weighs less than 7,200 lbs. dry.
Embrace
We have two new Embrace travel trailer models for you on opposite ends of the size spectrum. On one end, the 17BH measures less than 21’ long, with room to sleep 5-6 people in 142 sq. ft. It weighs a nimble 3,080 lbs. unloaded, riding on a single axle. On the other end, the 33BH balances 37’11” across two axles, giving you room to sleep an impressive 9+ people in 334 sq. ft.
EL 17BH
The compact 17BH fits a queen-sized bed and two single bunks into its small footprint, with a dinette you can convert to another bed. A space-saving bathroom features a shower and a toilet, with the kitchen sink just outside the door so you can wash your hands. The kitchen houses a 10.7 cu. ft. fridge, and a recessed cooktop has a glass cover to extend your countertop space.
Although this model economizes where space is concerned, it comes with a standard 15k BTU A/C unit and prep for a second, a heated and enclosed underbelly, and a solar prep package. You’ll get everything you need to extend your weekend getaway into a longer trip. Plus, the power awning with LED lights and marine-grade exterior speakers let you set up a killer patio.
EL 33BH
The 33BH gives you a much roomier layout. The rear bunkhouse has a door to reduce noise and improve privacy, and it includes two double bunks along one wall and a flip-up bunk over a tri-fold sofa along the other wall. Next to that, there’s a full bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, plus its own entrance door leading straight outside. That comes in handy when some of your guests go to bed early or sleep late.
In the living area and kitchen, there’s a 70” sofa, a booth dinette, and a fridge, microwave, cooktop, and sink for prepping meals. The single basin, stainless steel sink comes with a cover to help optimize countertop space, and the cooktop includes a glass cover for the same purpose.
This model also comes with the same solar prep package, power awning with LED lights, and marine-grade exterior speakers that make the 17BH distinctive. And with lots of pass-through storage, you can pack everything you need to make the most of your outdoor space.
Shadow Cruiser
If you’re a Shadow Cruiser fan, check out the three new 2025 models that come with bunkhouses – the 251BHS, 292BHS, and 330BHS. The 330BHS mirrors the floorplan of the Embrace 33BH above, so let’s take a closer look at the other two.
SC 251BHS
In the 251BHS, two double bunks sit in the rear corner of the RV, next to the full bath. There’s a combination kitchen and living space, and the dinette includes a roomy U-shaped booth that’s both comfy and functional. The primary bedroom holds a residential queen bed, two wardrobes, overhead cabinets, and nightstands with outlets on either side of the mattress. There are two sliding doors, which help give the bedroom a roomier feel. Measuring 30’5” long, the 251BH weighs 6,140 lbs. dry and sleeps 7-8 people in 241 sq. ft.
SC 292BHS
The 292BHS is a little larger, coming in at 33’11” long and 276 sq ft. It can sleep 9+ people, and the rear bunkhouse lays the bed east-to-west to give each bunk an additional sense of privacy and peace. This model also has one of our favorite newer features, a hidden pantry behind the entertainment center and fireplace. It’s the perfect place to stash anything you want to keep private. There’s a loveseat facing the TV, plus a pass-through bathroom that offers some additional space to spread out.
Additional Shadow Cruiser Features
Shadow Cruiser models also come with standard outdoor kitchens, which include a griddle for whipping up Sunday pancakes. The LED-lit pass-through storage holds more than 40 cu. ft. of cargo, with extra-large slam latch and magnetic baggage doors that make loading and unloading a snap. An extended season package provides a heated and enclosed underbelly, and there’s a 30k BTU furnace and 13.5k BTU A/C unit.
And in the indoor kitchens, you’ll love the seamless edge countertops, full-extension drawers, and cabinets with hidden hinges. The 10 cu. ft. 12V fridge holds perishables, and you can whip up a meal on the flush-mount 3-burner stove and oven, with a range hood installed to help the coach stay cool and fresh while you’re cooking.
MPG
If MPG has caught your eye, there are two new models that include bunks in their floorplans. The 2520BH includes double bunks set into the rear corner of the coach, keeping things compact in the 30’5” length and 241 sq. ft. of interior space. You can comfortably fit 7-8 guests, and this model weighs 6,128 lbs. unloaded. In addition to the bunks, you get a primary bedroom with a king-size sliding bed, letting you maximize floor space when you need it.
MPG 3310BH
The 3310BH includes the same king bedroom and a private bunkhouse in the back. The bunkhouse comes with a door – handy when you have younger kids who go to bed early or older kids who prefer to sleep in. The full bath has its own black glass entrance door, opening to the front patio, and there’s a second entrance next to the main bedroom. This model weighs 7,802 lbs. dry across a length of 37’11”, and it sleeps 9+ people in 334 sq. ft. of indoor space.
Additional MPG Features
Across MPG models, campers will love the 40” LED TV, which comes with a four-speaker sound bar system. You can dim the LED batten strip lights to suit any mood, and there are multiple charging stations throughout the coach with 12V capability and built-in USB ports.
MPG is solar-prepped, so you can add a solar panel or two and some batteries, and you’re off to the races. It also comes prepped for a rear backup camera, a rear ladder, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. Spacious pass-through storage comes with motion-sensing LED lights to illuminate your way when you’re loading and unloading, and slam-latch baggage doors with magnetic latches keep your cargo secure on the road.
Inside, the kitchen comes with a 10.7 cu. ft. double-door fridge, full-extension drawers, and hardwood-framed cabinet doors. There’s a glass-covered cooktop and oven, a range hood, and an over-the-range microwave for cooking tasty meals. An under-mounted stainless steel sink has a wide basin for holding dishes and there’s a high-rise faucet so you can maneuver them easily under running water.
Stryker
Last but not least, we have two new family-friendly Stryker models to share. The STG 3212 can sleep 7-8 people in 37’9” of length and 329 sq. ft. of interior space. It weighs just under 10,000 lbs. unloaded, but that weight includes two luxurious raised patios and a 12’11” garage that can sleep four people, thanks to a power queen bed and convertible opposing sofas. There’s a king-sized mattress in the primary bedroom and theater seating for four people in the living area. If you count both patios, you’ll have five distinct spaces for people to spread out and enjoy themselves within the boundaries of the RV.
STG 3413
The STG 3413 features a 13’ garage on a 38’9” long coach. It can sleep 9+ people in 321 sq. ft. of space, and it weighs 9,170 lbs. dry. The rear ramp door converts to a patio, extending the reach of the garage into the great outdoors. A 60 x 89” power queen bed in the garage is extra long – a feature tall guests will love – and the dual hinge couch beneath it folds out to sleep two more people. In the living room, there are two more sofas, giving you an incredible amount of beds in a reasonably sized footprint. There’s a king bed in the primary bedroom and two entrance doors – one in the garage and one in the living area.
Additional Stryker Features
One great aspect of Stryker models is how well they tow. With rubberized suspension and gas piston shocks, they ride smoothly on the road, with 16” E-rated tires and aluminum rims giving them a solid base. Power tongue and stabilizer jacks help you set up at camp more easily, and there’s standard generator prep with a 30-gallon fuel tank. There’s also a standard 190W solar panel and 30-amp charge controller for supplemental solar energy, or you could easily upgrade to a higher-powered package.
To make the most of your motorized toys, we’ve included 5,000 lb. bolted tie-downs in the garage and a 102” wide body construction to fit oversized side-by-sides. The 8-foot easy-load ramp door makes loading and unloading vehicles easy, and the onboard fuel tank can help keep them gassed up and ready to ride.
